V3-180
The new Bailey V3-180 engine, first shown at the Sports and Leisure Aviation Show at the Birmingham NEC in December 2008 is nearly
ready for release after extensive testing. This eagerly awaited update to our 4stroke175 engine features a number of improvements, including:-

  • 1kg lighter
  • More compact in every dimension
  • More powerful
  • Improved cooling
  • Provision for manual and/or electric start
  • Increased oil capacity
  • Improved oil filtration and scavenging

We are currently in the testing stage with the V3-180 and once we have finalised the exact specification we will be releasing full technical details, power output and price. The introduction of our V3-180 and 4V-200 engines represent the continued development since 2003 of our 4-stroke product for the PPG and SSDR market.
